Starting a blog is one thing. Finding the perfect logo to represent it? That’s an entirely different challenge—one I underestimated when I first began working on Perfections Connections.
I’ve always known that branding is important, but I never expected to go through six different logos before finally settling on one that felt just right. It’s been a journey of trial, error, and countless design tweaks, but looking back, every iteration brought me closer to something that truly represents my vision.
Perfections Connections isn’t just another blog or self-improvement resource. It’s a space where people can learn how to navigate the flaws—both their own and others'—that impact relationships, success, and everyday life. I wanted a logo that felt polished yet approachable, something that reflected growth, transformation, and connection.
My first few designs were… let’s just say uninspiring. Some were too corporate, others too playful, and a couple felt completely off-brand. But every failed attempt helped me refine what I was really looking for.
The first few logos I created were simple text-based designs. They looked clean but lacked personality. One was too plain, another too bold, and a third just didn’t resonate with me. While they technically worked, they didn’t feel right.
At this point, I decided to go in the opposite direction—adding too much detail, intricate fonts, and unnecessary design elements. I was trying too hard, and the result was something that felt cluttered and overwhelming. It was clear I had lost sight of what I wanted: simplicity with meaning.
Finally, after multiple revisions, I landed on a design that felt balanced, intentional, and aligned with my brand’s message. The final logo is:
✔ Clean and modern – No unnecessary clutter, just a refined look.
✔ Represents growth – A subtle nod to transformation and self-improvement.
✔ Memorable and versatile – It works on my website, social media, and print materials.
This version just clicked. It gave me the confidence to move forward, knowing I had created something that truly represents Perfections Connections.
While the logo journey was its own adventure, launching the blog itself has been another learning curve.
I’ve always had ideas, but putting them into a structured blog format? That’s new to me. Learning about SEO, content planning, and reader engagement has been eye-opening. I want my blog to be a place where people don’t just consume content but actually apply it to their lives.
✅ You don’t have to get it perfect the first time – Whether it’s a logo, blog post, or business idea, you will refine it as you go.
✅ Consistency matters more than perfection – It’s better to start and improve along the way than to never start at all.
✅ Your brand will evolve – What I thought I wanted at the beginning has shifted, and that’s okay. Growth is part of the process.
Now that the logo and brand identity are locked in, I’m shifting my focus to content creation. I’m excited to share insights on self-improvement, handling difficult personalities, and breaking bad habits—all the things that have shaped my own journey.
If you’re also starting something new, whether it’s a blog, business, or personal project, know this: it’s okay to go through multiple versions before finding what works. Every misstep is just part of the process.
And if you’re struggling with branding or decision-making, remember—sometimes, you need to go through the wrong options to find the right one.
I can’t wait to see where this journey takes me next. 🚀
